Enhancements

CMA

Membership -

...

  • When a member is deleted from CMA, that member will no longer show up in the web roster in PayCloud.

Use Case: Unchecking the Visible on Web Roster setting for a deleted Member will now exclude them from showing on the Website Member Directory.

Interactive Reporting - Financial Reports

  • Several financial reports in CMA have been updated to use the system default budget type.

Use Case: Previously, the Budget Type Lookup would run all Budget Types, causing issues when a Club has multiple Budgets.

Now, the System will use the Default Budget Type unless otherwise changed in the System Settings then Accounting, as seen below.

Member Charge Wizard - Importing Combos

  • Users can now import a file containing combos when running the Member Charge Wizard in CMA.

Use Case: With the recently added ability to charge Members for Combos, Users now have the ability to Import a file containing Combos, and it will pull into CMA.

Mobile POS

Signature Capture Support

  • Mobile POS now supports Signature Capture on Settlement.

Use Case: Mobile POS now allows Users to turn on Signature Capture capabilities for each device individually. This setting can be accessed from the top left menu button, then System Settings. To turn on this feature, select Prompt for Signature on Settle, as seen below.

Additionally, when the Invoice is created for this Charge Batch, Users can again view the signature when viewing the Invoice created for the ticket, as seen below.

Modifier Functionality

  • Change Modifier functionality has been added to Mobile POS.

Use Case: Added functionality allows for Change Modifier capabilities within Mobile POS. After an Item has been added to a ticket, a Server can add additional Modifiers to the base Item, add additional Modifiers to child Items, or remove Modifiers by clicking the Item and then Change Modifiers, as seen below.

Once Change Modifier is selected, Users have a variety of options to choose from for the Item selected. All upcharges will be added accordingly for all Modifiers as well.

  • Modify Multiplier Support has been added for Mobile POS.

Use Case:  Items can now be modified using Multipliers. For example, one Wine Pour is $5, if the Member wants two pours Servers can now enter in a Multiplier for the Item (Two Pours) and the price will double ($10), four pours would quadruple the cost ($20), and so on. Any associated upcharge fees will be applied here as well.

Kiosk Mode Support

  • Kiosk Mode has been added for Mobile Ordering.

Use Case: Clubs can now set up a Member-facing tablet or touch-screen terminal for Members to order food from, similar to signing in to the new Mobile Ordering Application.

Access the Mobile Ordering Kiosk from the top left Menu then Mobile Ordering Kiosk, when enabled.

To enter, Users will need to enter a Service Code. This code can be accessed in CMA System Settings then Point of Sale, then under the Kiosk Mode Settings, shown below.

Once the User enters the Service Code, as shown below, Members can then access Mobile Ordering features on the Kiosk by entering their Member Number and Last Name.

Reversing Charges


  • Added “Credit Ticket and Post” functionality in CMA when editing a posted invoice paid with Member Charge. 


Use Case: When a member is disputing a charge, it can be reversed from the new Credit Ticket and Post button within the posted invoice. 

Please Note: Reversing the Invoice - Users must create a new invoice for the charge and settle this to member charge. Users CANNOT unpost a Reversal Batch, the system will not allow. Please exercise caution when reversing any charges.

Mobile POS

Tab Functionality 

  • Mobile POS now supports Tab functionality for Clubs Using CE Payments. 

Use Case: Added Tab functionality to Mobile POS allows Users to now start a Tab in Mobile POS, swipe a credit card, add a note to the tab, and close the ticket out to the tab. Charge Tab is located under the “more” option within a ticket. Once selected, Users will select the appropriate card reader, and run the card. The name on the Card will then show on the Ticket in Mobile POS. 

Please Note: Tab functionality in Mobile POS is only available for clients using CE Payments (not available for use with Square).

In addition, Users can choose to have the System prompt them for a Note when starting a Tab. This setting can be accessed under System Tools on the Mobile POS, as shown below.

Seat Functionality


  • Added and improved the seat selection/seat filtering capabilities for Food and Beverage areas in Mobile POS.


Use Case: Added and improved the seat selection/seat filtering capabilities in Mobile POS through a seat selector on the Ticket screen, shown below. When viewing All seats, Users will see all items on the full ticket. Now, Users can select the individual seat to view items specifically for that seat. In addition, when an individual seat is selected, items clicked will be added directly to that seat.

Rearrange Items


  • Added the ability to rearrange the order of Items on a ticket in Mobile POS.


Use Case: Users can now select Edit Items when viewing a ticket in Mobile POS. This will then allow Users to rearrange items on the ticket via the up and down arrows that will populate, as shown below. Ticket printing respects the order of the items as they are on the ticket.

Member Details - Minimum Balance


  • Added Minimum Balance information on the Member Details screen in Mobile POS


Use Case: Users can now access Minimum Balance information by navigating to the Member Lookup menu item on Mobile POS. Once there, Users can select a specific Member and click View Minimum to view that Members current Minimum Balance, shown here.

Gratuity


  • Added percentage options when adding a Gratuity in Mobile POS.


Use Case: Previously, when Users selected Remove Discounts, the System would only remove User added discountsUsers were only able to add Gratuity in dollar amounts. Now, support has been added where Users can select Remove Discounts and Price Schedule Discounts will be removed as well.

Standalone Credit Card Transactions

Users have the ability to choose from a predetermined percentage amount, or enter in a specific percentage that will calculate based on the total bill.

Item Reorder


  • Added item reorder functionality to Mobile POS.


Use Case: This new Mobile POS feature, available in Classic POS, allows Users to settle a ticket to a standalone credit card. Meaning that Users can close out to a Credit Card, then swipe the card using their separate third-party service. When setting up this payment type, Users will select Credit Card as the Type and then NOT select a token. Shown below.

Item Category & Modifier Group Display

  • Modifier Groups will also now display as they are ordered in CMA, as opposed to the previous alphabetical order.  

Settlement - Quick Cash and Quick Member Charge

  • Quick Cash and Quick Member Charge options have now been added to Mobile POS functionality.

Use Case: Users now have added functionality when settling a ticket to charge to cash or charge to a Member’s account by selecting the Quick Cash or Quick Member Charge buttons. Users can now reorder an item that has been previously sent to the kitchen. Users can select the item to be reordered, and then select the Reorder option, as shown below. The system will prompt the User to select how many of that item to reorder, and then allow the item to be sent to the kitchen. 

Please Note: Area settings in CMA must be checked to allow for a confirmation box to populate confirming reorder, known as Prompt for Send on Reorder.

Open Tickets Grid


  • Updated the Open Tickets grid in Mobile POS to display all open tickets by server (regardless of the area). Retail Mobile POS will show open tickets for any Employee. 


Use Case: Users previously were only able to view their open tickets for one area at a time, new functionality allows users to view open tickets from multiple areas on the Open Tickets screen. Example shown below where a server has open tickets from the Lounge and from the Grille.

On a Retail Mobile POS, the Open Tickets screen will now show open tickets for every Server. Shown below where both A. User and C. User have open tickets showing in the Open Tickets display.

End of Shift Report - Printing


  • Updated the End of Shift report in Mobile POS to select a printer rather than a device.


Use Case: Previously, the End of Shift report would prompt the User to select a device. Now, verbiage has been changed to “Print To” where the user selects the printer which they would like to print their End of Shift Report, shown below.

Bug Fixes/Other

  • Fixed an issue when initially setting up a club for Mobile POS and trying to sync Items before saving the endpoint.
    Fixed an issue where reversals of Multi-AR CE Payments payments were not posting to the correct G/L accountwith price schedules with a time component not properly applying in Mobile POS.

  • Fixed an issue in Mobile POS that prevented users from overpaying with Cash when closing a ticket.

  • Fixed an issue that prevented users from transferring an invoice for a Mobile POS ticket using the Invoice Transfer Wizard.

  • Fixed an issue where the Items Purchased by Members report was showing the wrong gratuitythat allowed users to set the quantity of an item to 0 in Mobile POS, which caused issues when attempting to close the ticket.

  • Fixed an issue where Member charge batches from Mobile Ordering were not showing the correct descriptionin Mobile POS where item modifiers were not always using the correct price/upcharge as defined in CMA.

  • Fixed an issue where having an ampersand (&) in the body of a Mobile Ordering confirmation text/email was preventing the message from being sentthe Change Modifier screen in Mobile POS was not fully visible on smaller devices.

  • Fixed an issue where the Outstanding Vouchers report was not factoring in adjustmentsin Mobile POS where an item with a price schedule discount with multiple quantities was not calculating the discount amount properly.

  • Fixed an issue with back-dating Classic POS terminals and the system not using the correct date when closing tickets.
    Fixed an issue with the Age Demo field using the wrong Member on the Sales Summary views for the Data Genie.
    Fixed an issue with Mobile POS not displaying the Reciprocal Charge dialog when changing the Member on a ticket to a reciprocal Member.
    Fixed an issue with Mobile POS not using the ticket’s area for deciding which Screengroup to show, which area settings to use, etc. (The System was previously always using the device’s Area)where open folios were sometimes not appearing during the settlement process in Mobile POS.

  • Updated the design of the Pay button in Mobile POS to no longer show a subtotal and updated the icon on the Quick Member Charge button to be more consistent.
