Overview
mPOS causing you issues? Follow the steps in this guide to reset your mPOS Mobile Point of Sale environment.
Required Permissions
mPOS Admin Logins
Mobile Point of Sale Admin Login
Mobile Point of Sale Browser Access
For Browser Access users, exit close out of the your browser and go back in or relaunch. Or, open a new page and go to pos.clubessential.com.
mPOSMobile Point of Sale App Access
For mPOS Mobile Point of Sale App Access users, completely close out of the app and re-open. Or, uninstall and reinstall the app.
To uninstall/reinstall the app:
iOS
Press and hold the app icon on the homescreen until the menu appears.
select Select uninstall.
Locate After uninstall, locate the app in the iOS store and download.
Android
Open the Google Play Store app.
At the top right, tap the Profile icon.
Tap Manage apps and devices. Manage.
Select the name of the app that you'd like to delete.
Tap Uninstall.
After uninstall, locate the app in the Google Play Store and download.
Best Practices
If you choose to un-install and re-install, you will need to deactivate the license use, and then re-activate the license on the mobile device.
If attempting to clear the cache on your browser, be sure to not clear the cookies as mPOS Mobile Point of Sale licenses are cookie driven. If you clear the cookies are cleared, you will need to use the activate.clubessential.com site in order to delete the license being used by the current browser so that it can be used again.
