Overview
This guide will demonstrate how to save documents to a local device when using the Citrix workspace as your hosting service.
Required Permissions
Admin access to install software on device
Update Preferences in Citrix
Navigate to the Citrix Workspace Application icon.
Right Click the Citrix Workspace Application and select Connection Center.
Click Preferences.
Under the File Access tab, select the radio button “Read and Write” when choosing how to access files on your computer from this section.
Save Documents from CMA
Within the desired document in CMA, click the export icon and choose the type of file to export.
Click OK on the message, “Restrictions” and “Location is not available.” This is expected since the default save location navigates to the Clubessential’s application server.
Double click on your username of the computer
Select the folder to save the document in.
Select Local Disk (C: drive on “device name”) if saving to the current user’s profile.
Best Practices
When saving documents, DO NOT USE THE QUICK ACCESS tool on your device. These documents should be saved under Devices and Drives.
FAQs
Can these documents be saved to the network?
These reports could also be saved to the network drives that are already mapped to the local device.
