Accessing the Tool

The Add-on Items tab is used to setup add-on items for spa services. Add-ons function as mini-services that you can add-on to full-services in order to enhance the customer experience. 

To add a new add-on:

  1. Click the +ADD NEW ADD-ON ITEM button.

  2. Click into the New Add-On Name box and enter the add-on name.

  3. Click the arrow icon to begin configuring the add-on in the right-hand window.

To edit an existing add-on:

  1. Click add-on in the left-hand column.

  2. The service information will open in the main window where changes can be made.

To assign an add-on to a Service:

Once an add-on is added to the Spa system, you will then need to add it as a Service Association in order to be able to select it when making a reservation. You can set up the Service Association under Spa Admin Setup>Services

Add-ons General Information

  • Add-On Item Name: The add-on name listed in the New Add-On Item box. This can be adjusted as necessary. 

  • Add-On Duration: Amount of time needed to complete the add-on.

  • Add-On Item Lookup: Start typing in the name of the item and then select the correct item from the dropdown list. The dropdown list will contain items set up on CMA. 

  • Add-On Price: The price will automatically populate from the item defined in CMA. It cannot be changed in the Spa System, but can be discounted or modified if necessary within Mobile Point of Sale when opening and charging a ticket.

    • Please note, behavior for Add-On Item Lookup and Add-on Price depends on how your spa configured the Use CMA for Service Pricing (CMA/POS Only) toggle in System Settings. 

  • Description: Used to provide more details on what the add-on entails.
