Overview

  • In this guide we will cover the Open Tickets, Price Schedule Discounts, Sales By Tender Type, and Transaction By Tender Type Reports. You will learn how to run each report and will see an example of the data that each report will produce.

Accessing the Tool

Interactive Reports gives you the ability to filter, sort, and group the data using criteria. The available criteria are specific to the information the report contains. The report functions give you the ability to customize date settings, save criteria settings, delete saved reports, and schedule an email delivery. In this section you will learn how to use the criteria and report functionality.

  1. Click on the Interactive Reports Icon from the left menu bar. 

  2. On the Report Overview page, there is a list of reporting categories to choose from, or the User can search for a topic in the top search bar. It is best to keep the topic as broad as possible. If the club wants to see POS sales search for sale.

Open Tickets

Provides a list of all tickets currently open including Ticket number, Device, Employee, Member, Created Date and Mobile/Classic. Filter by Area and Employee. Group by Area or Employee. Option to Expand all. 

To run Open Tickets, select the report from the POS Dropdown,

  1. Choose the Area/s.

  2. Select the Employee/s if running for certain ones.

  3. Set the Group By.

  4. Select View Report.

In this example we ran the report for all employees and areas. We chose to group by Area. We see the Area, the Ticket Number, POS Device, Employee, Member, Created Date, and POS Type (Mobile/Classic).

Price Schedule Discounts

Shows all uses of a price schedule during a specific date range. Choose Price Schedule. Filter by Area. Detail down from  Area to Item.

To run Price Schedule Discounts, select the report from the POS Dropdown,

  1. Choose the Price Schedule.

  2. Set the Detail Level.

  3. Set the Start Date.

  4. Choose the Area/s.

  5. Set the End Date.

  6. Choose View Report.

In this example we ran the report for our Happy Hour 1/2 Off Apps price schedule. We set the detail level to be Item and ran for the entire month of September. We see the Item, Area, Quantity Sold, Retail Price, Discount Amount, Percent Off, and Net Price Schedule dollars.

Sales By Tender Type

Displays each Charge Settlement Type purchases by area within a date range. Filter by Area. Select Tender type(s). Select POS Type(S).

To run Sales By Tender Type, select the report from the POS Dropdown,

  1. Set the Date Range.

  2. Choose the Area/s.

  3. Set the Detail Level.

  4. Choose the Tender Types.

  5. Choose the POS Type.

  6. Select View Report.

In this example we ran the report for the month of September for the Grill Room area. We set the detail level to ticket and are only viewing the Tender Type of Member Charge with POS Type of Mobile POS. We see The Area, Ticket Number and the Total.

Transaction By Tender Type

Provides a list of all Tender types with transactions utilizing them within a date range with the ability to filter by Area.

To run Transaction By Tender Type, select the report from the POS Dropdown,

  1. Set the Date Range.

  2. Choose the Area/s.

  3. Set the Detail Level.

  4. Select View Report.

In this example we ran the report for the month of September for the Grill Room. We chose the detail level of Transaction so that the report ran fully expanded. We see the Tender Type, Member Number, Server, Area, Date, and Amount.
