Overview

  • In this guide we will cover the Inventory Aging, Inventory On-Hand, Inventory Transaction, and Inventory Transaction Summary Export Reports. You will learn how to run each report and will see an example of the data that each report will produce.

Accessing the Tool

Interactive Reports gives you the ability to filter, sort, and group the data using criteria. The available criteria are specific to the information the report contains. The report functions give you the ability to customize date settings, save criteria settings, delete saved reports, and schedule an email delivery. In this section you will learn how to use the criteria and report functionality.

  1. Click on the Interactive Reports Icon from the left menu bar. 

  2. On the Report Overview page, there is a list of reporting categories to choose from, or the User can search for a topic in the top search bar. It is best to keep the topic as broad as possible. If the club wants to see POS sales search for sale.

Inventory Aging

Displays the age of inventoried items based on a start and end date. Includes any sales and/or adjustments within the time frame. Can filter by area, Item category, and Item Group. Option to not include Items with Activity. 

To run Inventory Aging, select the report from the Inventory Dropdown,

  1. Choose the Date Range.

  2. Select the Area.

  3. Choose the Item Categories.

  4. Set the Detail Level.

  5. Choose the Item Group.

  6. Select View Report.

In this example we chose to run the report for two months, have set all Areas, Item Categories and Groups. We chose to only include items with activity. This report’s detail level is Transaction so the report is ran fully expanded. We see the SKU#, Description, Vendor, Qty, Received Date, Aged Days, Qty on Hand, Cost, Total Cost, Price, Total Price, and Margin %.

Inventory On Hand

Displays all inventoried items that have a quantity on-hand based on an as of date. Details both available and on-hand as well as available and on-hand value. Can be filtered by Areas and Item Category. Can run report for individual vendors.  Option to include items with zero on-hand. 

To run Inventory On Hand, choose the report from the Inventory Dropdown,

  1. Select the As of Date.

  2. Choose the Area.

  3. Choose the Detail Level.

  4. Select the Vendor.

  5. Choose the Item Categories.

  6. Select View Report.

In this example we ran the report as of Aug 8 with a detail level of Item, fully expanding the report. The report shows us the Item Category and the items within, the SKU#, # Available, # On Hand, Cost, Available Value, On Hand Value, and Qty Last Received.

Inventory Transaction History

Details history of inventoried items based on specific date range. Shows beginning balance based on the start date and includes all sales, item receipts, and adjustment batches. Can be filtered by Area, Item Group, Item Category, and Vendor. Can run the report by a single item.  Group by options include Vendor, Item Group and Item Category. Option to only Include Items with Activity.

To run Inventory Transaction History, choose the report from the Inventory Dropdown,

  1. Select the Date Range.

  2. Choose the Area.

  3. Select the Item.

  4. Choose the Vendor.

  5. Select the Detail Level.

  6. Choose the Item Category.

  7. Select the Item Group.

  8. Choose how to Group By.

  9. Select View Report.

In this example we ran the report for the month of July, chose to group by vendor, and chose the detail level of Transaction, fully expanding the report. We see the Vendor and the items sold by that vendor, the Transaction SKU, Date of Transaction, Batch Number of the Transaction, Description, QTY, Unit Cost, and Ext $.

Inventory Transaction Summary Export

  1. Select the Date Range.

  2. Choose the Area.

  3. Select the Item.

  4. Select the Vendor.

  5. Choose the Item Category.

  6. Select the Item Groups.

  7. Choose how to Group By.

  8. Select View Report.

In this example we chose to run the report for the month of July. We have chosen to group by the vendor. We see the Vendor, Item, SKU, Beginning Balance, Receipts, Adjustments, Sales, Ending Balance, and the Margin $ with Margin %.
