Overview

The Specialist Profile allows specialists to independently configure fields pertaining to their individual profile, if enabled by the administrator.

Accessing the Tool

Access the Specialist Profile under Specialist Setup from within the Admin Dashboard.

Specialist Profile - Basic Information

Within the Specialist Profile, you will be able to view and edit (if enabled) the following general information fields:

  • First Name and Last Name (predefined and set by the Administrator)

  • Display Name: How your name will appear throughout the system settings

  • Email Address (required field)

  • Calendar Sync URL: Use the copy button to copy the Calendar Sync URL and use it to sync your calendar to your mobile device (Note: The syncing process will vary based on device type.).

  • Phone Number (required)

  • Gender (optional)

  • Description: Information about you that will assist members in deciding whether you are the right fit for them or simply your job title

  • Active Start Date: The date you will become active and appear within the schedule as available for booking. 

  • Configure active end date? checkbox: On this date, the specialist will no longer appears on the schedule as available for booking. Check this box to set the active end date. Leave this box unchecked if the specialist is to remain on the schedule indefinitely for booking. 

  • Active End Date: The date the specialist is no longer available for booking.

Best Practices

FAQs

  1. Your dashboard may use a different term than 'specialist.' This is because the Core Administrators (Clubessential Admin) are able to customize the terminology to fit your club. If you see a different term, please know that all the functionality will remain the same.

  2. If you are a specialist and cannot see all of the fields outlined, your administrator likely has that field locked from view in the Specialist Controls.

  3. Why don’t I have a URL available under Calendar Sync URL? If you do not have a link in this field, this means the admin has not generated one. You will need to contact your admin to have them generate the URL for you.
