Master Setup - Specialist Controls

Overview
Used to control what a Specialist Admin is able to see and edit in your Professional Services/Lessons Reservation and Management system.
Required Permissions

Specialist Controls
Controls access to the member directory and the fields a Specialist Admin is able to see and edit about themselves in the Professional Services/Lessons Reservation and Management system.
Specialist Details
Toggle on the Allow Specialist Access to Member Directory to allow specialists the ability to access the member directory.
Specialist Profile
Show-Edit: Displays the field and allows the Specialist to edit it.
Show-Static: Displays the field but does not allow the Specialist to edit it.
Hide: Hides the field from the Specialist.
Specialist fields that can be set include:
Specialist Lookup: will always be set to Hide
Specialist Name: will always be set to Show-Static
Specialist Display Name: will default to Show-Edit but can be changed
Active Start/End Dates: will default to Show-Edit but can be changed
Description: will default to Show-Edit but can be changed
Gender: will default to Show-Edit but can be changed
Email Address: will default to Show-Edit but can be changed
Phone Number: will default to Show-Edit but can be changed
Profile Photo: will default to Show-Edit but can be changed
Schedule: will default to Show-Edit but can be changed
Booking Availability: will default to Show-Edit but can be changed
Associations: will default to Show-Edit but can be changed
After modifying any of the specialist controls, click Save to save the changes.
Best Practices
If your club adds a new Member Type in CMA, it should automatically sync to your Professional Services/Lessons Reservation and Management system and be available for selection. If that new Member Type is allowed to book appointments, be sure to enable the Member Type for booking within Master Setup > Booking Rules > Member Booking. If the new Member Type is not showing within your Professional Services/Lessons system, click here to refer to the Office - Website Sync Guide (Admin Use Only).
FAQs
Within Master Setup > System Settings, your club will specify the label your club will use to refer to professionals providing services at your club (i.e. Specialist, Trainer, Technician, Therapist, etc). The label defined will appear throughout your Professional Services/Lessons Reservation and Management system. The label used for this training article is “Specialist” (i.e. Specialist Controls, Specialist Details, Specialist Profile), but your system may appear differently depending on the label your club selects. (i.e. Trainer Controls, Trainer Details, Trainer Profile).
The Save button changes from gray to green color when any changes are made to the specialist controls. This serves as an indication that changes were made and need to be saved.
