Overview

  • In this guide we will cover the Member Tax Summary, Member Type Count, Member Type Count Audit, and Member Type Count Summary Reports. You will learn how to run each report and will see an example of the data that each report will produce.

Accessing the Tool

Interactive Reports gives you the ability to filter, sort, and group the data using criteria. The available criteria are specific to the information the report contains. The report functions give you the ability to customize date settings, save criteria settings, delete saved reports, and schedule an email delivery. In this section you will learn how to use the criteria and report functionality.

  1. Click on the Interactive Reports Icon from the left menu bar. 

  2. On the Report Overview page, there is a list of reporting categories to choose from, or the User can search for a topic in the top search bar. It is best to keep the topic as broad as possible. If the club wants to see POS sales search for sale.

Member Tax Summary

Provides a summary of Member taxes paid on every transaction within a specific time range with the ability to filter by Member Type, Member Status, and Members. Can be Ordered by Member number or last name. Option to Exclude Guest Member.

To run Member Tax Summary, select the report from the Membership Dropdown,

  1. Select the Date Range.

  2. Choose the Member Type/s.

  3. Select a specific Member/s if only running for certain members.

  4. Choose the Member Status.

  5. Set the Order By.

  6. Select View Report.

In this example we ran the report for a month to date in September and have ordered by the Member Number. We see the Ticket Number, Date of Transaction, Description, and Tax Amount.

Member Type Count

Provides a total of all Members in each Member Type with the ability to filter by Member Type, Member Status, and Member Group. Can detail down from Member Type to Member. Option to Exclude Guest Member.

To run Member Type Count, select the report from the Membership Dropdown,

  1. Choose the Member Type/s.

  2. Set the Detail Level.

  3. Choose the Member Statuses.

  4. Select the Member Group/s.

  5. Select View Report.

In this example we ran the report with a detail level of Member so that the report runs fully expanded. We see the Member Type with the Member Number and Name of the members in that type and the Count.

Member Type Count Audit

Displays all change in member types for a date range. Can be filtered by Member Type, Member Status, and Member Group. Can be Grouped by None, Member Type, Reason or Month. Option to Exclude Guest Member.

To run Member Type Count Audit, select the report from the Membership Dropdown,

  1. Set the Date Range.

  2. Select the Member Type/s.

  3. Select the Member Group/s.

  4. Set the Detail Level.

  5. Select the Member Statuses.

  6. Set the Group By.

  7. Select View Report.

In this example we ran the report for one month and have grouped by Member Type. We see the member Member Type, Member Name, Old Type, New Type, Join Date, Resign Date, Reason for Change, and Change Count.

Member Type Count Summary

Details a monthly total of members in a particular member type based on End Year and End Month. Can filter by Member Types and Member Statuses. 

To run Member Type Count Summary, select the report from the Membership Dropdown,

  1. Set the End Year.

  2. Select the Member Type/s.

  3. Set the End Month.

  4. Choose the Member Statuses.

  5. Select View Report.

In this example we ran the report with an end month and year of September 2023. We see the Member Type, The count summary for each month over the last year, and the Annual Change.
