From Column Options

Please Note: The lists will vary from club to club.

The From Type works in conjunction with the From field. These fields are used if the club has more than one kitchen or bar. Click the down arrow to get a list of options.

  1. If Device was selected the list will populate all devices.

  2. If Area was selected the list will populate all the Areas setup in your system.

  3. If Area Category was selected the list will populate all the Area Categories set up in your system.

  4. Anywhere will only give the option Anywhere.

To Type Options

The To Type works in conjunction with the To field.

To Type

Station –Station refers to a single station set up.

Station Group – this is the preferred setup; using groups makes it easy to reroute orders to a different station if a station is not functioning properly or orders need to reroute to a different kitchen or bar.

To:

  1. If the Station option was selected the system will list, after selecting the magnifying glass, all Stations setup in your system.

  2. If the Station Group option was selected the system will list, after selecting the magnifying glass, all Station Groups set up in your system.

Start Time & End Time

Used when an Area of the club uses more than one kitchen or bar in one day.

  • Example: The club’s orders route to a Grill Kitchen Station from 8am to 3pm and then from 3:01 pm to close the orders route to the Main Kitchen Station.

Day Of Week

Used only if certain days Areas of the club use more than one kitchen or bar, if this applies to more than one day each day will need to be set up separately.

Once finished, hit the Save icon.

  1. Now we have two options, we can start making additional rules for the Category if other Stations and rules are needed.  We can also copy this rule to other Categories.  If you want the same Routing rules to follow if set up by an Area or Device, select the copy button, then choose the Categories you want to copy this rule to.

  2. To delete a Station Routing rule, select the Trash Can Icon while in edit mode.

Best Practices

  • It is best to set item Modifiers that are to be cooked as actual items.  If you were to place an order for a Salad with Chicken, you may need to set the Chicken Modifier as an item that is routed to a Hot Station as only the cold portion will go to the Cold Station.  In this case, setting the Add Chicken modifier as an actual item will allow for it to route to the Hot Station for preparations.
