Overview

This guide will cover adding messages to seats from the Mobile Point of Sale that will display in the KDS.

Required Permissions

  • Various MPOS Permissions

  • KDS


Accessing the Tool

To add messages to a seat for KDS:

  1. Pull up a ticket in MPOS that you wish to apply a seat message to

  2. Select the seat number, then the More Options button and finally, Enter Seat Message.

  3. Type the message or messages for your seat or seats.

  4. Once sent to the kitchen, the message will display for the items applied to that seat.


Best Practices

  • Please be sure to enter seat messages prior to sending the ticket/items to KDS as the message will only appear if entered prior to sending the items back to the kitchen.
