Overview
This guide will demonstrate the steps to create and edit sections within a website form.
Required Permissions
Admin
Form Sections
Add/Edit Sections
Click the Edit Question Layout button to open the layout editor for the form.
Please note: At least one section must be added to the form before any questions can be added.Click Edit Sections at the top of the layout editor.
Click Add New Section to add a new section, give it a name, and configure its properties.
Please note: New forms will not have existing sections listed here.
Section Settings
After the section has been added, it’s time to configure the options.
Option | Description |
---|---|
Section Name | The name of the section. This is required, it creates a styled header for the section. *If you do not want a header bar, you can use the space bar to create a nameless section. |
Width | Sets the width of the section. |
Cell Padding | Sets the cell padding for cells inside of the section table. |
Cell spacing | Sets the cell spacing for cells inside the section table. |
Question Cell Align | Sets the alignment attribute for the cell that contains the question text. |
Answer Cell Align | Sets the alignment attribute for the cell that contains the answer field. |
Question Cell Width | Sets the default width of the question cell. can be overridden in the question settings. |
