Club Intelligence - Reading the Membership Profile Dashboard

Club Intelligence - Reading the Membership Profile Dashboard

Table of Contents

Overview

  • The Membership Profile Dashboard takes a different approach than the other Club Intelligence dashboards, which are tailored to specific personas in Club Management. This dashboard is designed with a specific purpose in mind, rather than a specific role at the Club, and offers a deep look into the reservations and spending habits of specific members, and/or their family members.

  • It is well suited for any staff member that should be able to review member spend – while it won’t show specific invoices, it will allow drilling down to the specific items purchased by a Member, as well as their history of reservations activity at the club, and their MAP score trends over the past year.

  • Each dashboard you access will be composed of various widgets. Some can be modified via filters but also will have options within the widget to drill down for more information and Data. For more information on filtering widgets, please refer to the guides:

Required Permissions

  • Club Intelligence Admin

Accessing the Tool

  1. Go to Admin Bar.

  2. Select Club Intelligence.

  3. Select the Membership Profile Dashboard.

Setting up the Membership Profile Dashboard

  1. Select a membership to drill down into, via the first set of three filters on the right-hand side of the screen (Membership Type -> Membership Number -> Member Name).

  2. Filter any combination of these three filters, with each successive filter being more focused than the one above it. For example, you can filter for your entire “Active” membership type, or by membership number (both membership level and membership number are based on the primary member), or drill down to a specific individual.

  3. Further, you can filter the dashboard to explore your selected contact(s) activity over a date range, filter against the revenue area and/or item category, the reservation module (tee times, dining, etc.), and the day of the week.

Total Spend & Reservations for Family/Membership

The Total Spend for Family/Membership report displays the total amount of money spent at the Club by the member(s) selected, and respective to all dashboard filters. You can use the "Revenue Area” filter to include or exclude revenue by the revenue area, as defined in your CMA system.

The Total Reservations for Family/Membership report displays the total number of unique reservations made in the various reservation systems on your Club’s website. You can use the “Reservation Type” filter to include or exclude specific reservation systems. Keep in mind that, as with all of the Club Intelligence dashboards, only reservations made through Clubessential systems are available to be tracked in Club Intelligence.

Club Usage Breakdown by Member

The Club Usage Breakdown by Member chart displays the total dollars spent, and unique reservations at the Club, for each individual that meets your filter criteria.

Spend & Reservation Summary by Day of Week

The Spend & Reservation Summary by Day of Week charts display the amount of money spent or reservations made for each day of the week during the time range your dashboard is filtered for. Clicking on a slice of the pie chart that corresponds to a day of the week filters the rest of the dashboard to drill in on that specific day of the week.

Spend by Area / Reservations by Type

The Spend by Area / Reservations by Type charts display the amount of money spent per revenue area, and the number of reservations per reservation type. Clicking on a bar in the chart allows the option to drill down to the specific items sold (Spend by Area) or the specific resource/location (Reservations by Type)

Spend & Reservations by Month

The Spend & Reservations by Month charts display the monthly total money spent and reservations made at the club for the current month, and each of the previous 13 months. A trend line will be displayed, so long as there is enough historical data present to create one (minimum of 6+ months to generate a trend). These charts are NOT affected by the Date Range filter on the dashboard, but they are affected by the rest of the dashboard filters. Additionally, clicking on a point on either graph will filter the rest of the dashboard to drill in to that specific month.

Current MAP Score & History

The Primary Member MAP score is filtered to only display the primary member of an account, for whichever month(s) in the Date Range filter. This report functions best when looking at a single month, and a single Membership account.

The MAP Score History displays the past 13 months of MAP scores for each individual that meets your dashboard filter criteria. Similar to the Spend by Month and Reservations by Month above it, it is NOT affected by the Date Range filter on the dashboard, but it is affected by the rest of the dashboard filters.

Best Practices

  1. If your dashboard is showing data for dates, people, events, etc. that you are not looking for, remove and reset your filters.
